Art/Dance Instructor

Samantha graduated from San José State University with a BS in Journalism and Mass Communications but has always been an artist at heart. She was a teaching assistant in SRJC’s art department for 4 years and loves working in a classroom environment. During the pandemic she volunteered to teach cartooning and puppetry to K-6th graders and found she loved working with children, and taking the time to help them creatively express their understanding of the world around them through their art. She still considers herself a big kid, and loves drawing, puppetry, comics, video games, and animated films.
