Art, Music & Dance Classes you will Love!
We believe in the creative nature of every child, whether they are expressing themselves thru art, music or dance. Our education based programs focus on proper technique, fundamentals and learning. The most important part of every program is that the students have FUN and grow as individuals in whichever art form they choose.
6-9 yrs.
Art with the Masters (8-14 yrs): This class continues to introduce new Master Artists over the course of the year, such as Picasso, Degas and Hundertwasser. During the class an artist is presented along with their style of art. Then the students are guided to emulate the Master with that Master’s prominent medium and style. As a result, someone observing the final product might say, “Hey, that looks like ‘Pop Art’ that Andy Warhol could have created!”
Cartooning & Character Design (8-12 yrs): Students in this class explore cartooning and character drawing through various drawing techniques. Animated features such as larger than life eyes and heads with small bodies help create the imaginative world. Join this class as improve your drawing skills while having fun.
Clay Building (8-14 yrs): In this class students will work with various polymer clays like Sculpey and Fimo where the clay is baked in an oven (not a kiln). Students will make items from jewelry to animals to picture frames. No clay experience necessary but the class does take fine motor skill and concentration. Sign up for the fun!
Intermediate Drawing (8-14 yrs): Students will create fun, interesting drawings in this class while learning about tinting and shading in black and white. We will work with the human figure, flora, fauna and inanimate objects. Students will have input as to what they learn. Join this class to meet friends and improve your artistic eye. Some basics of drawing required.
Jr. Cartooning & Character Design (4-7 yrs): Students in this class explore cartooning and character drawing through various drawing techniques. During the class an artist is presented along with their style of art. Then the students are guided to emulate the Master with that Master’s prominent medium and style. As a result, someone observing the final product might say, “Hey, that looks like ‘Pop Art’ that Andy Warhol could have created!”
