Christie started taking piano lessons at the age of four. Her love for music grew when she started playing the violin. Since then she has completed all ten levels of CAMPT and has competed in numerous competitions. She is currently the principal violin in SRJC orchestra. Her passion for music continues as she works toward getting her B.A. in violin performance as well as a B.S in software engineering. Her teaching style uses traditional yet fun methods where students learn proper technique and performance skills. Christie loves being able to open up the world of music to her students and watching them grow into well-rounded musicians!
