Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Colin started playing the drums at the age of 8. Throughout his academics, Colin has played with numerous musical groups spanning many genres, including orchestras, marching bands, and garage rock bands. With a focus on marching percussion, Colin performed two seasons with the Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, and has since taught high school drumlines for 7 years, as well as the Cal Poly drumline for 2 years. Colin has also been playing guitar and piano, self-taught since age 10. In 2021, he began studying music theory in university. Colin is currently studying music composition at Sonoma State University.
