Meet Jordan, also known as “The Dancing Raven”!
Jordan has been teaching at Art & Soul since 2021, for students 3 years old through adults. But don’t let her age fool you, as she is a highly trained dancer who travels all over the country for training and performance opportunities. Jordan is currently attending Alonzo King Lines Ballet where she will receive her BFA in Dance through Dominican University. You may have caught Jordan performing in the SRJC Touring Dance Company, competing on stage, in her professional role in FairyWorlds through Shakespeare in the Cannery, or even in New York City performing in the Professional Division Intensive at Alvin Ailey Studio in ‘25.
Jordan is a nationally recognized dance honors society member where she holds multiple titles across North America and recently was nominated and awarded Dancer of the Year for all of the California Community College system (2025).
Jordan is available for classes and private lessons as well for any of the following styles: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, latin/ballroom (cha cha, jive, samba, paso doble, and rumba), modern (horton/graham), fosse, musical theater, hula, pilates and acrobatics.
Jordan is also a skilled violinist, playing since the first grade and has recently taken up a love for singing. She also is a certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor where she teaches mat, apparatus, and reformer classes.
She is most happy when she is dancing and sharing her passion with others. Jordan hopes to instill a love of dance in each student that she meets while having fun and teaching proper technique.
