Sammie

Ms. Sammie’s passion for performing began at the age of 4 and started with musical theatre. When she was 11, she discovered a love for playing the violin at Windsor Middle School. After encouragement from her teachers, she joined the Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles and eventually traveled to many countries in various parts of the world. One of her favorite adventures was when she got to travel with the esteemed Youth Orchestra on a European tour to Salzburg, Vienna, and Budapest. Somewhere in midst of all of that, she learned to play the ukulele, guitar, viola, and some basic piano. She even learned how to sing and dance! Due to her musical theater background, she has received a wide range of dance training from ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hip. Ms. Sammie’s excitement for the arts only continues to grow and she hopes to aid the next generation of spongey minds find the same love of art that she has had for years.
