Stacy began singing at the age of eight with the San Francisco Girls Chorus. During her 12 years with the organization she performed with the SF Opera and SF Symphony, recorded several CDs, and toured internationally with their premiere ensemble. While attending UC Berkeley, she sang with several ensembles (including 3 a cappella groups!) and worked with guest artists such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Stacy has been a featured soloist in Richard Einhorn’s oratorio Voices of Light, most prominently at the TCM Film Festival in Los Angeles. She has performed in roles such as Mrs. Segstom in A Little Night Music, Mrs. Squires in The Music Man, Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera, Bird Woman in Mary Poppins, and Aquata in The Little Mermaid. She can be seen on stage in the upcoming productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator) at the Raven Theater and The Sound of Music (Frau Schmidt) at Cinnabar Theater.

Stacy has been vocal director for several theatre productions and ensembles in Sonoma County, including Oak Tones A Cappella at Santa Rosa Junior College. She currently is the Education Director & Vocal Director for the Education Program at Spreckels Theatre Company and a Music Mentor in voice & piano at Art & Soul School of Creative & Performing Arts.

Stacy strives to provide an outlet for creative expression through the rehearsal and performance of vocal music. She hopes that everyone learns something about their voice and the music, but most importantly that they have fun!

“When you sing with a group of people, you learn how to subsume yourself into a group consciousness, because … singing is all about the immersion of the self into the community. That’s one of the great feelings – to stop being me for a little while and to become us. That way lies empathy…” – Brian Eno
