Susan has studied the clarinet since she was 10 years old.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the State University of New York
at Buffalo, where she studied with the principal clarinetist of the Buffalo Philharmonic and a Master of Music at Ithaca College where she also studied flute, trumpet and piano. She taught at the Community School of Music and Art and also
at the Salvation Army After School Music Program in New York. She really enjoys working with young children and encouraging their self-esteem.
She is currently performing with the Walnut Creek Concert Band.
