Dance Instructor

Emily began her ballet training at Classical and Contemporary Dance in Rohnert Park, where she built a strong foundation in classical technique. In the summer of 2019, she further refined her skills at the Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory in Connecticut, where she immersed herself in pointe work, partnering, and contemporary dance.
A graduate of Santa Rosa High School, Emily was an integral member of the ArtQuest Dance Company throughout all four years. It was during this time that her passion for teaching and choreographing began to take shape. She continued her dance education at Santa Rosa Junior College, exploring a range of styles, including contemporary, modern, and tap.
While ballet remains her greatest passion, Emily finds immense joy in sharing her love for dance with students of all ages. Her teaching emphasizes musicality, creativity, and fostering a love for the art of movement in every dancer she works with. She works with dancers stating as young at 18 months all the way through adults.
In addition to teaching dance, Emily-Roshelle loves working with our Preschool Program. She has been with Art & Soul in this mentor capacity since 2023.
